President

Lucie Newcomb, Founder and President of The NewComm Global Group, Inc., has a 30-year business background, featuring notable successes in international marketing, business development and organizational transformation for corporations, start-ups and non-profit organizations on four continents and in Emerging Markets worldwide.
She has also been a curriculum designer and instructor of executive education courses for C-level teams and entrepreneurs since 1983, including her University of California, Santa Cruz Extension course on building a values-based organization using the HTI methodology.
Lucie is the worldwide convener of The Leader As Reader Virtual Book Club for the more than 2,200 members of the International Leadership Association, featuring conversations with leaders such as Ronald Heifetz and Jim Kouzes. She is also a Co-Convener of the ILA's Philosophy, Religion and Worldviews Learning Community, on the Organizing Committee of TEDX Bay Area Women, and President of The Global LightWorks Foundation, a small non-profit organization helping other small NPOs in Emerging Markets. She consistently seeks to build strong organizational foundations while generating results and return on investment (ROI) for all stakeholders.
A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley in Interdisciplinary Studies, Lucie also holds a Master’s degree in Leadership Studies from St. Mary's College. Her thesis was on building values-based leadership capacities in ourselves and our organizatIons using the Hall-Tonna Inventory (HTI). Her other work includes building global citizenship capacities, corporate governance, Change facilitation, women in business and entrepreneurship. She is fluent in French and travels every chance she gets.
